Matt Crossick
Matt’s interest in photography started at an early age when he was given his first camera, a Konica SLR, at the age of 11. He studied at Warwick University and shot pictures for his Student Newspaper the ‘Warwick Boar’. After university Matt found himself shooting for a variety of music and teen magazines, even record companies where he shot images for album artwork and covers.
This led Matt eventually in 2008 to be working for Empics Entertainment, where his talents were able to develop and was given the opportunity to show what he can really do.
It’s obvious just from looking at his work that his keen eye has the ability capture the atmosphere of concerts, gigs and intimate shows perfectly. In addition to this, his skills have now extended further into fashion and news, areas that require both spontaneity and a competitive edge.
His most recent notable red carpet event was at the world premiere of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1. Working quickly and under pressure he really came into his own, capturing some stunning portraits of key cast members including Emma Watson and Helena Bonham-Carter.
Matt’s best attribute is his drive and ambition to be the best. Due to this, his pictures are always exactly what our clients are looking for and his images have been printed in every magazine from Heat to Hello, shooting everyone from Kate Moss to Biffy Clyro.
