Empics Entertainment is a photographic agency that provides local, national and international clients with all the latest in Entertainment and showbiz imagery. Events Covered

We cover every type of Entertainment event possible; including all the latest film premieres and awards ceremonies. Supplying images regularly from major Red Carpet events including The Oscars, BAFTA’s and varying international film, television and music awards shows. We also cover London Fashion Week and all the international shows including Paris, Milan and New York.

In the UK we have a thriving music scene with venues that are second to none. From intimate venues like the Brixton Academy, large arena’s including The O2 and music festivals including Glastonbury among many others… our photographers have covered them all. History of Empics

Founded in the early 1980’s, East Midlands Pictures or ‘Empics’ as it is now known, is a photographic agency that specialises in the licensing and production of sport, news and showbiz imagery.

On the 11th of May 2004 Empics was acquired by the Press Association, which together with AP, is now PA’s photographic branch that facilitates an extensive archive dating back to the early 1900’s and supplies up to the minute images from around the world of all the things sport, news and showbiz
